Rating: - Immortal in Death
This is no. 3 in the 'In Death ' series. Having recently started the series, I find them absorbing and become totally at one with the story. 'Immortal' ties up Eve's past demons,weds the lustful Roarke, and gives an insight to Sommerset. The murders are inventive and the relationships are real. The sex is great too! I love them and am plowing through the books at a rapid rate. Great discovery.

The "in Death" series by JD Robb is terrific! I started with the later titles and recently have gone back to the beginning of the series to enjoy those stories. This was is one of the best I've read (listened to). If you enjoy Lt. Eve Dallas and her crew, you'll like this one.

Immortal" wasn't quite the 5 Star the previous 2 books were, but it was dang close. Mrs. Roberts is truly a master storyteller and she rarely lets me down. Immortal (unlike the others) did lack the "must turn the page now, can't do anything else" feeling for me, but it was a great fast paced read, and at the end of the story this fine author (and in the words of my 4 year old son) really throws you for a loopty loop...
